Kenzo Tange: Utopia

Utopia Across Scales: Highlights from the Kenzo Tange Archive

Harvard Graduate School of Design | Gund Hall, fall 2009
Lead Exhibit Designer + Contributor responsible for all graphics, layout, construction + fabrication drawings

Tange’s lifelong project can be defined as the mediation between the building and the city, constantly resituating the environment of the individual in ever-expanding scales of social life.  The works presented in this exhibition clearly convey his audacity in pushing beyond conventional limitations of scale and form and envisioning new structures and systems of inhabitation.
